CHANGEChildren’s Wish Foundation, Manitoba & Nunavut Chapter reached yet another milestone receiving a record single corporate donation to end the 2017 calendar year. The charitable gift was inspired from a staff driven campaign called “Payroll for the Needy” at DMT Development Systems Group (DMT), a global software provider headquartered in Winnipeg. The donation is not only the largest for this chapter of Children’s Wish, but also the largest for DMT who has been working with Children’s Wish for the past 4 years.
“We feel extremely fortunate to have been the chosen charity by DMT since 2014” said Maria Toscano, Provincial Director of Children’s Wish Foundation, Manitoba & Nunavut Chapter. “While all contributions sincerely make an impact in a suffering child’s life, seeing employees like DMTs rally together as individuals to flex their collective muscle, really moves the needle.”
When asked about the donation, Glen Demetrioff, President and CEO of DMT stated, “The number is simply a by-product of people who truly care. The exuberance and participation shown by our staff of over 200 strong and the impact of giving back to our community is at the heart of our Payroll for the Needy campaign.”

DMT has provided me the opportunity to help bring a welcoming distraction to a sick child, which really hits close to home.”
